Around 34,000 New students joined government schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

PESHAWAR: Around 34,000 students who were attending non-Government schools have left and joined government schools between Sep 2015 to March 2016 in KP.

according to a survey in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in May 2016 according this survey almost 66% of parents took out their children from non-Government schools

The main reasons for this movement are ever rising education expenses in non-Government while government schools are offering good quality education which is free of cost as well.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has made great efforts in the education sector which has improved parents of private schools children’s perception about government schools across the province.

Around 96% of parents who have shifted their children from non- government schools to government schools,
