Committee led by Pervez Khattak reviews use of public properties

Islamabad: A meeting of the committee also attended by Prime Minister Imran Khan to determine the use of public properties was held under the chairmanship of Defence Minister Pervez Khattak in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Defense Minister Pervez Khattakordered all the authorities to complete all the important tasks and formalities regarding the use of these properties for the welfare of the people.

The meeting was also attended by Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, officials of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), officials of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and water and housing work departments.

Pervez Khattak stated the need for the careful utilization of public properties.

Minister said that land would be developed with the joint public-private partnership and urged provinces that land should be identified that can be transformed to benefit public.

He also urged that survey should be conducted and people’s advise to be taken into account while drafting the feasibility report.
