Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan stated on Monday that the development and progress of erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) is the utmost priority of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Imran Khan led a high-level meeting on Monday where he said that basic facilities such as education, health, administrative issues and peace will be provided with immediate effects to the people of Tribal areas and FATA.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that imposition of local government in FATA is very important and measures are being taken to facilitate them.
He urged that locals should be provided with jobs in various health sectors. Prime Minister also ordered to provide health cards to 0.5 million families of the Tribal areas.
Finance Minister Asad Umar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Governor Shah Farman and other state officials also attended the meeting.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan, on December 14, had ordered the authorities to provide health, education and utilities to the People of FATA.
