Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government has decided to make fresh contact with the opposition parties over the issue of nomination of chairmanship of the all-powerful Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Monday.
Details unfold that government has given this task to Asad Qaiser Speaker National Assembly to make contact with opposition parties regarding the chairmanship of PAC.
Sources also told that constitution of parliamentary committee will also be discussed.
Imran Khan led a crucial meeting today (Monday) to discuss the issue regarding the chairmanship of PAC with the opposition.
Asad Qaiser Speaker National Assembly, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Senate Shibli Faraz and Minister Parliamentary affairs Ali Muhammad Khan was also present.
Issues related the PAC chairmanship, ethnic committees, parliamentary affairs were discussed in the meeting led by PTI.
It is to not that a PTI delegation have already met the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the previous month pertaining to the consensus over PAC Chairmanship. sa
