Hotline set up to listen to complaints of protests

The government sets up an individual hotline to deal with the issues that people faced during countrywide protests.

The helpline was set up to make connection with people and Govt officials. The Govt had set up this on Sunday asking people to WhatsApp the picture and videos of the rioters during the protests.

Upon dialling the number you would’ve thought that it will make connection with the Government and not some other person.

A private news channel quoted an incident that they called the number , a man picked up and didn’t identified himself as Govt official.

The WhatsApp display picture showed was not the image of the Govt of Pakistan, it was some random image. However, now it has been changed with the logo of the Government of Pakistan and they are actively taking calls and receiving videos and pictures of the protesters.
