ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for a federal cabinet meeting on Thursday (today).
Imran Khan will review the performance of the government while Finance Minister Asad Umer will take discuss the cabinet the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Naya Pakistan Housing scheme announced by the PTI government will be discussed and the analysis will be conducted during the sessions.
CPEC projects in Baluchistan are likely to be reviewed in this session.
On October 16, as govt said, IMF bailout package will be put before the parliament for approval from other members.
The Govt firmly decided to reach IMF for economic recovery even during the time of severe criticism by opposition parties.
Asad Umar clearly stated that economy is on the verge of bankruptcy and the only way out was economic recovery. The mismanaged economic policies previously have brought difficulties for today.
“The PTI government was taking concrete measures to facilitate the industrial sector, including the provision of cheap gas and electricity, so that exports could be boosted,” Asad Uamr said.
PTI government will not take any step that contradicts party manifesto and public welfare. To avoid IMF packages in future govt is taking measure to generate revenue.
