Islamabad: State Minister for Communications Murad Saeed on Friday restated that the government will soon reveal the plans for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects on priority basis.
Murad Saeed, State Minister for Communications while talking to Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing expressed: “Pakistan-China Friendship is higher than the Himalayas. Both countries are bound in diplomatic, political social and economic relations spreading over decades which are constantly gaining strength with the passage of time. The CPEC has further strengthened this friendship.”
Many officials were also included during the meeting such as Secretary Communications Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, Chairman National Highway Authority Jawwad Rafique Malik, Senior Joint Secretary Altaf Asghar and senior officials of Department of Communications.
Murad Saeed stated that government is making remarkable steps to restore the crushing economy of the country.
He further stated that Government is bent upon to develop the economic corridor as it will bring prosperity to both countries. This project will provide immense opportunities to both countries and entire region.
He said Gilgit-Chitral, Gilgit-Chakdara to Chitral via Swat Motorway will be extended with the approval of JCC.
