Pakistan to build confidence in ties with US

Washington: Deputy Spokesperson, US State Department Robert Palladino has urged Islamabad to build confidence in relations with US.

Palladino while talking to media persons in Washington DC stressed that Us and Pakistan need to develop bilateral relations and put confidence on each other.

He further stated that “our policy towards Pakistan is clear.” Pakistan’s step of opening Kartarpur Corridor was seen as a big step by US and they really appreciated it.

US State department remarked that this historic step will keep positive contact between the two neighbours. Palladino urged the normalization of Relations between Pakistan and India is extremely important as the peace of that region depends on it.

“I’m aware of reports on this Kartarpur corridor. I understand that it’s kind of a visa-free way for Indians to visit this important Sikh site. And of course, the United States would welcome efforts to increase people-to-people ties between India and Pakistan,” Robert Palladino told media.

US president Donald Trump sparked a twitter war against Pakistan through the outburst of his tweets to which Prime minister Imran Khan boldly replied.

Khan said that these false allegations are offensive for Pakistan and he underlined the role played by Pakistan in the war of Terror.
