Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken decision to contact Cricket Australia again for the two-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia before the World Cup 2019.
PCB has previously tried to convince Australia to reconsider coming back to the country to play for the first time in two decades but nothing is finalized.
Sources say that series will be played in the middle of the January if Cricket Australia agrees to visit and play in Pakistan.
PCB wants Cricket Australia to make decision but watching the PSL matches that will be played in the Pakistan and therefore, arrangements will be made to invite Cricket Australia to watch the matches of Pakistan Super League fourth Edition.
Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani previously said that he want to convince the op teams to play in Pakistan as it’s a matter of changing reputation and perception of Pakistan across the globe.
“Once anyone comes to Pakistan and views the situation by himself, it will not be hard to convince him that international cricket can return to Pakistan properly. But simultaneously it is not easy to change the perception of people who have not been to Pakistan in recent times,” he mentioned.
