PML-N spent Rs 55million in Jati Umra under name of security: CM Buzdar

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar stated that PML-N government spent Rs 55 million in Jati Umra under security tag.

While he was informing the nation about his 100-day performance the Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar said that previous government spent Rs 55 million on Jati Umra under the umbrella of security measures.

“The government will protect each and every penny of the people, adding that those who had illegally benefitted from their influence, would be held accountable for their actions,” mentioned Chief Minister Punjab.

Encroachment drive is underway, as many as 759,428 kanals of illegally occupied state land have been recovered from land mafia by the PTI government, told the CM Punjab.

He further said that total cost of the recovered land added up to be trillion of rupees which was almost equal to the whole development budget of a single province.

“Success of the indiscriminate action is an extraordinary achievement of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as no leniency has been shown to anyone. We have put the system on the right track within the first 100 days and pinpointed our targets.”

Beside the spokesperson to Chief Minister, Provincial ministers Fayyazul Hassan Chohan and Raja Bashara were also present on the occasion.
