Polling starts for the by-election in Baluchistan’s Kech

Baluchistan: Polling began at 8:00 am on Thursday for the by-election for the PB-47 seat in Kech-III, in Baluchistan. All polling station in ‘Kech’ are declared sensitive. 

Preparation of the elections have made before the polling started, says Election Commissioner Niaz Ahmed Baloch. The number of votes registered in the 60 polling stations are 56,462. The number of polling booths set up are 162. Polling will end at 5:00 PM in the evening.

During the Elections in July 25, Abdul Rauf Rind stood winner who belonged to the Baluchistan Awami Party. Election Commission of Pakistan had invalidated his victory because of his dual nationality.
