Stolen car explodes in Karachi’s Khadda Market

A car explodes early morning and which was said to be stolen was parked in an empty plot in Khayaban-e-Mujahid in Karachi’s Defence.

The car recognised a Suzuki Mehran which is said to be destroyed completely in the blast. Seven household cylinders were found in the car but Bomb Disposal squad has said that no clear evidence of cylinder blast have found yet. Police state that car’s own CNG cylinder did not explode.

The car is registered on a man Named Sanaullah and was stolen from Jamshed Quarters. Police told that it’s not the first time that car was stolen. Previously the same car was stolen in 2017 but son recovered in five days.

The cause of blast is not clear as yet, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) is unable to figure out. The team probed the site for around five hours but no reasonable clue is found out. People say that car was parked in the empty lot of Khayaban-e-Mujahid, in Khadda Market, around midnight.

Investigation team has identified that there were lentils present inside the car that are bought from the near store.
