Stray dogs spotted in Islamabad Airport

Islamabad: 5 stray dogs were spotted on Benazir Bhutto International Airport yesterday night.

Manager Islamabad Airport is reportedly suspended as media reports about stray dogs roaming freely in the faculty lounge broke out. The CAA chief took serious notice of the event and ordered immediate actions to be taken in this matter. He also issued orders to inquire about this matter.

The Director General Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has dismissed the airport manager with immediate effects, the spokesperson reported this statement on Monday. Experts, however, stated that entering of Dogs in Airport premises is not a negligence or management problem it’s a serious security concern and this is nothing less than a security breach.

This situation revealed poor airport security and zero concerns about passengers. Other shortcomings were also pointed out, such as washroom not available for differently-abled passengers in the lounge.
