Donald trump just wrote a letter to Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and requested to seek his help pertaining to Afghan issue.
He said that its time to put full stop to 17-year long invasion of Afghanistan by US troops. The Prime Minister received letter from the US president today in the morning.
Yesterday, Imran khan was interacting with a TC anchor and expressed that Pakistan would play its due role to resolve the Afghanistan and terrorism issue.
Couple of weeks back, US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Imran Khan waged a Twitter war against each other.
America blamed Pakistan for hiding Osama Bin Laden and not utilizing the billions of dollars given in the form of US AID.
“Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there. Fools!
“…We no longer pay Pakistan the $Billions because they would take our money and do nothing for us, Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another. They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ENDING!” he wrote on his Twitter account.
To which Imran Khan took a clear stance stating that Pakistan sacrificed its resources and manpower to play important role in eradicating terrorism.
