UN General Assembly elects 5 new Security Council members

The United Nations General Assembly has elected five new Security Council members, including Estonia, Niger, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, while Tunisia and Vietnam as non-permanent members.

The members will serve a two-year term starting from January first, 2020.
