Younis Khan among candidates for junior selection committee

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently decided that junior selection committee that is led by former cricketer Basit Ali be resolved.

Board is presently reviewing various options for post in  Junior Selection Committee and Younis Khan is also considered as a deserving and strong.

The final decision is reserved till December 13 when a meeting will be held to formally decide newly-formed cricket committee in Lahore.

The reason behind the new committee is the unsatisfactory performance of the current committee that is comprised of Basit Ali, Farrukh Zaman, Amir Nadeem, Sanaullah Baloch and Ali Zia.

In a recent under-19 Asia Cup Pakistan was defeated twice by Afghanistan. Moreover, the overall performance and teamwork was not really up to mark. Their performance pout a question mark on the selection committee.
