Zardari supported Shehbaz’s demand for probe into Mohmand Dam contract

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that he seconds the opinion of opposition leader’s demand for constituting a Parliamentary Committee to investigate into Mohmand Dam contract issue.

While talking on the floor of National Assembly, he said that river has spread over as m,any as 0.9 mn acres of the agriculture of Thatta in the Indus Delta so far.

He also advises the minister for water resources to do complete homework and the issues of water and added that people of Sindh are facing huge water shortage.

While talking about the fake bank accounts investigation by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), the former president Mr. Asif Ali Zardari was grateful to Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar for excluding Bilawal’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

He also mentioned and labelled this fake accounts case as ‘drama’, Zardari said taht such tactoics he has seen in the past too.

While commenting on the PTI government, the co-chairman PPP claimed that PTI government has failed to address the issues of the people of this country.

Zardari claimed that the govt has badly failed, “Time has come to summoned National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal before the house”.
