101-year-old Coronavirus Patient Recovers in Italy Today

A 101-year-old coronavirus patient was released today from the hospital in Rimini, Italy, after an inexplicable recovery against COVID-19.

Termed as “Mr P” in the Italian media to protect his name, the patient had tested negative before being released from the hospital.

This miraculous recovery of the coronavirus patient proved that everyone can fight against this deadly disease and there is no issue of age.

Mr P’s recovery came as a shock in Italy where the fatality rate for people over 70 stands at 86%.

Italy is the 2nd most-affected country in the world after the USA. The country has recorded 92,472 confirmed cases of coronavirus with almost 10,023 deaths so far.

Previously, 103-year-old Zhang Guangfen, a woman living in Wuhan, China, had also recovered in a week after being admitted to the hospital.

Similarly, a 97-year-old female patient in South Korea had also made a successful recovery after tested positive of the deadly coronavirus.
