113 Pakistanis prisoners detained in Malaysia arrive in Islamabad

According to the Ministry of Overseas, a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight is scheduled to bring back 113 prisoners from Malaysia to Pakistan on 1 January 2019.

Ministry of Overseas shared this news on their Twitter account, according to which boarding process for the return of Pakistani nationals from Malaysia is in process and a special PIA plane will depart from Kuala Lumpur to Islamabad at 2:30.



The plane will arrive in Islamabad at 5 pm with 113 Pakistani prisoners trapped in Malaysia, the tweet added.

The welfare of foreigners is the priority of Pakistan, Tweet quoted minister of Overseas Zulfi Bukhari.

Special flight arrangement has been made and this is an important decision to bring Pakistani citizens back home from Malaysia, Tweet quoted Zulfi Bukhari.

Earlier, the government withdrew 300 Pakistani nationals from Malaysia in May 2019 after providing them financial and technical assistance.
