Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar told on Monday that about 85 percent of the cases have been resolved in his tenure to provide masses relief.
Chief Justice of Pakisatn Mian Saqib Nisar said that the judiciary rulings have been made to improve the society and drive their betterment. He urged that the system that is built on honest judiciary never collapse and is among the key factors to not let the nations fall.
“We raised the issues of basic human rights to revamp the system. The top court’s human rights cell only has resolved 10, 0067 pleas,” the CJP mentioned while talking to the ceremony of launch of Police Reforms Committee Report in Islamabad.
Chief Justice Saqib Nisar expressed that all the verdict announced and measures taken were inside the circle of Jurisdiction. He said people of Pakisatn never liked and deserved the favouritism and money embezzlement systems.
“Hopefully, I will not be alleged of interfering in administrative matters. Is it excess of the jurisdiction if we raised the issue of construction of dams?” He added that nothing has been ever done regarding this issue in last forty years.
He mentioned that he took good care of the judiciary under his tenure and tried his best to resolves all the pending cases. It should be noted that CJP Saqib Nisar has almost reached towards the end of his tenure.
