A delegation of Afghan Taliban will come to Pakistan to meet Khalilzad


ISLAMABAD:  A delegation from the Afghan Taliban will come to Pakistan to meet Zalmay Khalilzad, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation. The delegation will arrive today and likely met with Khalilzad who is already in Pakistan.

Spokesperson of Afghan Taliban Suhail Shaheen tweeted:

“A high-level delegation led by Vice-President Mullah Berader Akhund will visit Islamabad , October 2, for an official invitation. He will hold talks with the country’s officials on several important issues. This is an official tour that takes place in the countryside.”
