A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly to remove Sarfraz Ahmed from the captaincy of the national cricket team.

Sri Lanka’s inexperienced team beat Pakistan by 3-0. Pakistani fans have expressed their anger on the cricket team after a clean sweep in a three-match T-20 series. The Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Sarfraz Ahmed is being subjected to severe criticism by fans following his defeat in all three matches.

Misbah-ul-Haq, the head coach and chief selector of the national team, has also acknowledged that defeating by an un-experienced team like Sri Lanka is enough to open eyes. “We need to do a lot of work on bowling and trying to figure out the reasons for the defeat,” he said.
