Aafia Siddiqui asks once again for help

A Pakistani neuro-scientist Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was sentenced for 86 years in prison by a New York court in 2010. She seeks Prime Minister Imran Khan’s help to get out of prison.

Aafia Siddiqui sent message to Prime Minister through Pakistan’s Consul General that reads, “I want to get out of prison, my imprisonment in the US is illegal as I was kidnapped and taken to the US.”

Consul General paid visit to Aafia Siddiqui in New York jail on October 9, 2018. She was told by Aafia to give this message to Imran Khan and also tell him that she is waiting for positive response

“Imran Khan had supported me in the past also,” Aafia Siddiqui said in a message and showed her confidence on him as the leader of all Muslims. “I have always considered him one of my biggest heroes and wish to see him as the Khalifa of all Muslims.”

She also urged her hero to “be careful of the munafiq (hypocrites) around him.” She has faced bitter realities there in the jail and no help was extended to her from previous governments.
