Abducted neurosurgeon returns home safely after 48 days

Quetta: Abducted Neurosurgeon Dr Ibrahim Khalil safely returned home on Wednesday after 48 days.

The family of the kidnapped Neurosurgeon Dr Ibrahim Khalil told that he has safely returned to home after 48 days. Kidnappers left the Dr at the Chamman border near Iran.

Last year, some unknown men stepped put of their car and halted the way of Dr Khalil While he was off to his home from a private Hospital on Zarghoon Road. The kidnappers forcefully shifted him from his vehicle and flee away from the scene before anyone could see.

His kidnapping emerged as a huge incident since his family, the local administration and the health sector demanded his recover and massive protests broke out in the city demanding govt to find him as soon as possible.

Since his kidnapping, Doctor in the govt hospital and private hospital were on strike and they demanded  security for their safety and his early recovery.

The Balochistan government formed a probing team, led by Senior Superintendent Police Investigation Quetta with members from various intelligence agencies and the Counter-Terrorism Department to inquire into this matter.
