While the coronavirus has paralyzed all activities around the world, the entertainment industry has also been hit hard by the virus.

Due to the lockdown, the shooting of several films has been affected and the release of the film has also been delayed.

The closure of theatres and cinemas has led to an increase in the use of online streaming sites by consumers.

According to Indian media, the online streaming service Amazon Prime will now release the Indian films that were to be released in cinemas earlier this month.

7 new Bollywood movies will be released on Amazon Prime, including a movie starring Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan.

In this regard, theatre owners in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu had threatened to boycott the well-known actor Suriya as he had decided to stream his film on digital platforms.

It should be noted that due to the world’s longest lockdown in India due to the coronavirus, all educational institutions, including offices, about 9,000 theatres are closed.
