Boxing Champion Amir Khan inaugurates water and power facilities in Tharparkar

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Tharparkar Muhammad Hussain Baloch told to media that the boxer Amir Khan had promised the Sindh  government support in its efforts to provide different facilities like health ,education, water  to Tharparkar

Amir Khan Promised to do all he could to provide clean drinking water to every village in Tharparkar and expressed a wish to fund healthcare facilities for each inhabitant.

The Pakistani-international boxing champion Amir Khan praised the government of pakistan is attempts to provide facilities to residents and urged it to take further measures to mitigate the hardships of Tharparkar by ensuring provision of basic facilities like health, clean water and education for every one, and uphold their basic rights.

 Famous Pakistani-international boxing champion Amir Khan also appealed to international organizations to provide relief to the residents of Tharparkar , where an outbreak of disease, malnutrition and drought have claimed the lives of 443 childrens in this year according to unofficial reports.

Thar District Health Officer earlier said and so many suffering in different decease were brought to six healthcare facilities in the district for treatment, while 6,353 were admitted and treated in different decease.

Pakistan Muslim League (N) member Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, who holds the Sindh government responsible for the issue in Tharparkar, claimed that so many of dispensaries and healthcare units in remote villages in the region are lying nonoperational.

Amir Khan, who was welcomed by village children singing local folk songs, promised residents more frequent visits to the area.
