Asad Omar to rejoin cabinet as planning minister

 PTI Member National Assembly Asad Omar again becomes part of the federal cabinet, Asad Omar takes oath as federal minister of planning and development, President Arif Alvi takes the oath.

According to details, Asad Omar took the oath as Planning development and Reforms Minister, which was attended by Federal Ministers, Members of the Assembly and other officials.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Information Minister, Firdous Ashiq Awan, said that the federal cabinet has been decided to expand and change, in this regard, it has been decided to make Asad Omar Minister of Planning and Special Initiatives.

She said that it has been decided to make Khusro Bakhtiar a federal minister of petroleum and a notification will be issued soon.

It is to be remembered that at the Federal Cabinet meeting held yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that he had decided to change the federal cabinet which would be announced soon.

It should be noted that in April, Assad Omar resigned as finance minister after which Abdul Hafeez Shaikh was made advisor to the prime minister.
