Pakistan Army mad two big changes, Major General Babar Iftikhar has been posted as Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), while Major General Asif Ghafoor has been transferred to another city.
Major General Asif Ghafoor has been transferred and posted as GOC 40 Division (Okara).
It should be remembered that on December 15, 2016, Major General Asif Ghafoor was appointed Director General (DG) of ISPR, Pakistan Army Department.
According to a report from the military sources at the time, it was reported that Major General Ghafoor belonged to the Artillery Regiment and had extensive experience of the Operations, while he had also commanded a unit in Operation Meezan.
Thanks to everyone I have remained associated with during the tenure. My very special thanks to Media all across. Can’t thank enough fellow Pakistanis for their love and support.
