Chilly winds from Quetta turn Karachi weather cold

Karachi: Cold winds from Quetta have turned Karachi weather chilly, Met office also predicted light showers of rain in provincial capital.

Lights showers of rainfall are expected  in the metropolitan city on Monday (today). The meteorological office told that the temperature was recorded 14 degree centigrade in the morning.

Cold waves have prevailed across the city since last night, as the Karachi was hit by extremely cold Siberian winds last night. Foggy conditions might prevail in the night in various parts of Sindh.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country today. Slightly foggy conditions might prevail in parts of Sindh, Punjab an Khyber Pakthunkhawa.

Partly cloudy weather is expected in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the latest PMD advisory said.

Rain and snowfall occurred in several places in northern areas such as Galliyat, Naran, Kaghan, Murree, Gilgit-Baltistan, Malakand, Swat and places in Quetta.
