Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi told on Tuesday that citizens of Islamabad would be able to get driving license within a day and the license would be given to them on regular fees.
While addressing a ceremony in the Federal Capital, “Earlier the citizens had to go through a strenuous process to acquire the license. Our aim is to provide the masses justice and respect,” he said while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad.
Shehryar Afridi previously told that lakh licenses were made in the year 2018. INL should be thanked for giving the machine which could make those many licenses in one day only, he said.
Shehryar Afridi said that nobody has the power to bypass law, effective measures and unprecedented moves are taken to make the driving license available in one day.
Minister further said that giving respect and justice to the general public was the foremost responsibility of the new government.
