Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology & Barrister Fawad Chaudhry said that the government has made mistakes in many cases. While the differences between the government and the opposition should be resolved with consensus.
According to details, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said in the Senate meeting that Govt wants to start the new year differently as the previous year. On the first day, I want to say that the opposition and the government have to agree on important issues, Fawad added.
In many cases the government made mistakes, and some mistakes also happened from the opposition side, but the government and the opposition should start the year by unanimously setting an agenda.
The federal minister said that there could not be a 100% consensus among political parties. Government and opposition are Parliamentary institutions, the military and judiciary are not part of parliament. It looks like all four institutes are at daggers drawn, If the situation will remain the same, the matter would go out of hands.
Fawad Ch said that on Judiciary and military matters, all should be agree unconditionally. There should be consensus on the Election Commission, NAB amendment bill and Army Amendment bills, Ch added.
Fawad Chaudhry said that if we cannot bring an accountability system then we cannot form an Election Commission. The bitterness between the government and the opposition should be eliminated, and it is better if this bitterness stays only on humanitarian grounds, Fawad added.
