Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi leaving for Oman on Tuesday (tomorrow) to discuss the wide spectrum of bilateral cooperation with the leadership of the middle eastern country.
While talking to media in Multan, Foreign Minister Qureshi said that he is likely to visit London next month. The sole aim to visit the Great Britain is to meet the House of commons and put forward Kashmir issue.
“We will present Pakistan`s stance on Kashmir and Indian atrocities being carried out in Occupied Kashmir [before the Britain’s leadership].”
Shah Mehmood Qureshi mentioned that Pakistan has always stressed to resolve water conflict through peace talks and always opted India to sit back and talk about Kashmir issue.
The foreign minister told yesterday that Pakistan is playing a positive role in helping the United States and the Taliban to a negotiate on a table. He expressed that we have long-continued to play a neutral role and offered peace to the world. He said, “talks are the only solution for durable peace for both the parties.”
He advocated the view that peace in the region will accelerate economy, He promised to play his role in Afghan peace process, and the world has also accepted “our stance on the peace process, now we are sure about more good news in the future.”
