Washington: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrives in the United States to discuss UN human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrives in New York in the first phase of the US tour, where he is welcomed by the Permanent Representative of UNO Munir Akram. Foreign Minister will meet with top UN officials to discuss curfew and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
Foreign Minister told media that visits to Saudia Arabia and Iran were good, there was a lot of tension in the region, so Pakistan is doing everything it could to reduce the tension. He further added that the Kashmir Peace Council briefing has been completed, which will be shared by Munir Akram, the representative of Pakistan in the UNO.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi will also meet with the US Secretary of State and National Security Adviser.
