Foreign Ministry holds meeting with experienced policy makers

Islamabad: Foreign Minister chaired a session in Islamabad on Monday led by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Former senior Foreign Service officers also participated in making of Pakistan’s foreign policy issues.

The session led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi was led by many officials who have formerly served in foreign ministry and have stuff to say about the policy making of Pakistan.

An open and friendly discussion was held in the office and ideas were brainstormed during the session.

Many inputs were given by experienced officials who have previously served in office in one way or the other.

It should be noted that it was decided the regional, national and global issues of Pakistan should not be compromised.

Foreign Ministry told that such discussions are useful and in future they will be held regularly.

Recently Qureshi stated, “foreign policy of the country would be made at the Foreign Office.”

“We will not be shy of engaging with our security institutions for the betterment of Pakistan. Pakistan first is our policy,” he categorically stated.
