Islamabad: An accountability court will resume hearing into Flagship Investment Reference against deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday (today).
Proceedings of this case will be conducted by Judge Arsahd Malik. Nawaz Sahrif showed up in the court yesterday. However, the sources tell that he might not appear in court today.
Nawaz’s lawyer will submit a request demanding exemption from appearance in court for today.
The case has come into the phase where any decision could be made. The panama JIT head Wajid Zia completed his testimony two days earlier. The evidence submission has been closed for Al-Azizia reference.
Court has given the deadline of November 17 to give the final verdict of Al-Azizia reference and flagship case. Prosecution and defense council says that case is expected to be wrapped up before the due date.
