A unique example of religious harmony A Hindu couple got married in a mosque in the Indian state of Kerala.
The wedding of Sarath Sasi and Anju Ashok Kumar was performed as per Hindu rituals.

The Cheravally Muslim Jamat Mosque hosted a Hindu wedding of Asha & Sharath. The Mosque came to their help after Asha's mother sought help from them.

Anju’s mother had sought help from the mosque committee for the wedding due to their poor financial background.
The Jamaat Committee has also given Anju 10 sovereign gold and Rs200,000 as their wedding gift

Najamuddin Almuttal, secretary of the Sherawali Muslim Jamaat Committee, said that Anju was the first woman to enter the 100-years old mosque.
He further said that the party will do everything to de-escalate the tensions between Hindus and Muslims.
It should be noted that a controversial citizenship law has been passed by the Modi government in India, After which the protests started all over the country. So far, about 35 people have lost their lives and hundreds got injured.
