Islamabad: A division bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed date for hearing the case of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) appeals against Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia Steel Mills case and Flagship Investment Reference.
The hearing at Islamabad High Court (IHC) bench comprised of Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani on January 21.
The bench has been formed by the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Athar Minallah.
NAB appeals would be heard alongside the appeals filed by Nawaz Sharif against his jail term in the Flagship Investment case.
NAB will appeal court to extend jail term of Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia case and also they said they have the evidences regarding Flagship case against the deposed Prime Minister.
The NAB on Dec 24 took decision to challenge the verdict of Supreme court against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s acquittal in Flagship reference.
NAB approached the apex court challenging the Islamabad High Court verdict regrading the suspension of Sharif and his family members against Avenfield reference imprisonment. The top court also rejected the NAB appeal yesterday (Jan 14).
