Increasing Unemployment and PTI Election Campaign

Pakistan Tehreek E Insaaf vowed for 10 million job creations after coming into the Government. However, the current state of affairs doesn’t look alike.

The structural reforms drive makes the situation more aggravated. Instead of providing employment to new-comers in the field, the job-holders tend to lose their job.

The most affected sectors of all these ongoing structural reforms are Agriculture and Large scale manufacturers. Owing to escalated circumstances, employees in various sectors are forced to downsize from the group.

According to a survey, almost 1 million people are going to lose their jobs in the next month. Moreover, hiring newcomers seem to be difficult for any business and CEOs.

On the other hand, opposition parties are also making noise on this issue. Maulana Fazalur Rehman’s Azadi March can bring a serious setback for the government because this alarming unemployment rate can trigger the people to come out from their homes.
