Indian authorities have cautioned people in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK) to stay in the house as the first ten days of the holy month of Muharram come to a close in the occupied Kashmir.
In spite of the warning, reports designate that Kashmiris are taking part in Muharram marches at great risk to their lives. Roads and other streets in Indian occupied Kashmir have been closed by security forces.
Last week, Indian security forces had baton-charged a Muharram procession in IoK as the draconian military curfew in the valley entered its second month.
According to reports, several people were wounded as the Indian forces also shoot at the Muharram procession. Meanwhile, complaints and marches against the India occupation of the valley sustained.
