It is mandatory to wear mask in public places in Pakistan: PM Assistant for Health

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant for Health Dr Zafar Mirza has said that it will now be mandatory to wear masks in public places in the country.

In a media briefing with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday, he said, “Now that the lockdown has eased, there is a lot of hustle and bustle, so it is being made mandatory to wear a mask and a notification will be issued soon in this regard.”

Zafar Mirza added that he would soon provide more details on where and for whom it would be necessary to wear a mask.

He also said that a Pakistani (Ferozsons) medicine company has been allowed to develop a medicine for coronavirus which is very welcome and a source of honour for the country.

The Special Assistant for Health said that “Pakistan will also supply this medicine to the whole world.”
