KARACHI: 9 people injured in aerial firing on the New Year’s eve

Karachi: At least 9 people were injured in aerial firing on the eve of the year, while Police arrested several persons who were involved in ariel shotting.

According to local media news, 3 women and a minor girl were among those injured in aerial shootings in Karachi on the eve of the new year.



Similarly, a car was set on fire during fireworks near the Garden Jilani Mosque (Karachi) that completely burned the car, a fire brigade approached the scene and extinguished the fire.

Karachi Police arrested several persons who were involved in aerial firing lodged a case against them.



It should be noted that yesterday Karachi police Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani advises citizens of Karachi to show civil responsibility and celebrate the New Year with responsibility.

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed has also issued a video statement at the request of the police and urged the citizens of Karachi to refrain from aerial firing on the occasion on the new year celebrations.
