Lahore: A medical board will examine the health of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the Camp Jail, Lahore today.
Spurces informed that Medical board formed by Punjab government will evaluate the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo’s health condition and his medical reports will be scrutinized and recommendations be submitted to the provincial government.
Medical board is compromised of Dr Hamid Sharif Khan, Assistant Professor at Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Dr Muhammad Talha Bin Nazir, Assistant Professor of Electrophysiology, Dr Shahid Hameed, Professor of Cardiology at Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore, Dr Sajjad Ahmed, Associate Professor of Cardiology, Brigadier Abdul Hameed Siddiqui, classified cardiologist Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology & National Institute of Heart Diseases, Rawalpindi and Brigadier Azmat Hayat classified electrophysiologist Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology & National Institute of Heart Diseases.
The board is comprised of specialist across the Punjab and the PML-N supremo’s health is their priority.
Whilke talking to his relatives and PML-N leaders who cam to Visit Nawaz in Kot Lakhpat jail, the ousted PM complained that my helath is nit taken care on and my right to proper medication is denied by the government. “I am not well. I am suffering from pain in my arm and chest.”
Previously, a medical board stated that reports are unsatisfactory of the PM Nawaz. He underwent echo and thallium scan tests at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) during the last week.
The reports indicated the thickness of his heart muscles and hence enlargement f the heart’s size while Sharif’s echocardiogram (echo) test was stated unsatisfactory.
