QUETTA (Web Desk) –According to the source 70 peoples including lawyers and media channel men were killed and dozens are injured in a suicide blast at the Civil Hospital in Quetta on Monday morning, NewsBox reported.
The blast, followed by firing, occurred as mourners gathered at the hospital after Balochistan Bar Association President Bilal Anwar Kasi was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the provincial capital.
The responsibility for the suicide blast attack was later accepted by TTP Group Jamaat-ur-Ahrar.

According to source Many of the dead were lawyers and media reporters who had earlier gathered to cover a protest over the murder of Balochistan Bar Association president Bilal Anwar Kasi.
Aaj TV cameraman Shehzad ahmed and famous media channel Dawn News cameraman Mehmood Khan and ex-Balochistan Bar Association president Muhammad Kakar were among those killed in the attack,
A heavy contingent of Frontier Pakistan Army Cheif and police arrived and cordoned the hospital following the blast, restricting access to the area.

pakistan Army chief General Raheel Sharif arrived at the Quetta Civil Hospital and inquired after the injured victims of the blast.
The pakistan Army chief General Raheel Sharif also directed the hospital authorities concerned to provide best medical care to those admitted at the hospital in Qutta.
The Army chief General Raheel also visited Balochistan High Court and offered condolences to chief justice of Balochistan high court and the panel of judges,” Director General Inter-Service Public Relations Lt-Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted.
