MQM’s leader Amir Khan appears in Sindh High Court for murder case

Karachi: Amir Khan Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader was charged for a murder case and he appeared before Sindh High Court on Monday (Today).

Amir Khan had previously filed appeal against the murder charges of the MQM workers in which he was allegedly involved.

Sindh High Court during today’s hearing granted time to Khan’s counsel and prosecution to prepare the case till December 24.

Amir Khan was jailed for ten years in the murder case of workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Moumvement in December 2004. At that time he was serving as secretary general of Mohajir Qaumi Movement. Unacceptability took to his case, and jailed him for ten years for murder charges.

Three other workers were also given imprisonment for their involvement in the case.

Judge also imposed a heavy fine of worth Rs 100,000 on the murder of Anum Azia and Mohammad Naeem on June 2003 during NA-255 elections.
