ISLAMABAD: Retired Justice Javed Iqbal, Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has directed NAB Lahore to bring the reference to conclusion against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif in the Ashiyana housing scandal.
Justice Javed Iqbal (retd) chaired a high level meeting NAB Lahore office and seek the completion of investigation into Ashiyana-e-Iqbal and Paragon Housing Society scandals and he eagerly promised that he will fully cooperate in this matter.
He also directed the team to have stance blatantly against Khawaja brothers irrespective of their protective bail. He urged that no pressure will be tolerated from foreign agents.
The chairman was briefed about the progress in the Aashiana and Paragon scandals. He was also shared the performance of the team and the behaviour of the convicted politicians.
he urged to bring back the suspects that have fled to abroad and are involved in this case. He said that case should be finalized as soon as possible.
NAB chairman told that looters will be punished and money will be brought back without any social discrimination.
It should be noted that Shehbaz’s physical remand was extended for fourteen days on November 10. Anti graft accountability watchdog requested told they couldn’t investigate properly because of his session in National Assembly.
