New Delhi: Navjot Singh Sidhu, former renowned cricketer and now minister in the Indian Punjab on Thursday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan and government for opening Kartarpur border.
Sources tell that he made a phone call to a Senator Faisal Javed Khan and expressed his emotions over long standing Sikh community’s wish fulfilled by Government of Pakistan.
He went on saying that this brotherly step from Pakistan will improve relations with the neighbour and bring peace.
Sidhu stated, “I am thankful to Pakistani government form the bottom of my heart.” He additionally mentioned about the love he got when he was invited over to Pakistan as a guest during the Oath taking ceremony of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He also tweeted and endorsed this step and thanked both sides.
Earlier today. The Sikh Gurdwara committee of Pakistan showed gratitude to Pakistan civil military leadership and thanked the government for taking this huge step to help pilgrims.
