Islamabad: Mian Nawaz Sharif, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, has chosen his grandson, Junaid Safdar to become a political successor and has also begun his political training.
Sources have revealed that when Nawaz Sharif arrived in London, he had lost all faith in politics.
Nawaz Sharif believes that in his absence and due to family politics his daughter Maryam Nawaz can not be the party leader, while Hamza and Maryam Nawaz will further develop the differences.
It may be recalled that after a disqualification in the Panama case, Nawaz Sharif was practically inactive from politics and party leadership, and his daughter Maryam Nawaz took over the party’s leadership.
Maryam is the Vice President of the party and Junaid Safdar is his son.
It should be remembered that the former Prime Minister arrived in London the last year with his brother Shahbaz Sharif and personal physician Dr Adnan for treatment in an air ambulance.
He was shifted from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office in Lahore to a hospital in Lahore in October due to poor health where his blood platelets continued to suffer from complications.
