Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was released from hospital after 16 days of treatment in Serviced Hospital Lahore.
According to reports, He was shifted to his residence in Jati Umra raiwind Lahore on an ambulance.
On his way home, he was with his mother and with other family members.
Earlier Nawaz Sharif daughter Maryam Nawaz also released from Kot Lakhpat jail on Lahore High court bail.
Yesterday Nawaz Sharif refused to leave Hospital until the release of his daughter Maryam Nawaz despite her bail.
On Tuesday Prof Dr Mahmood Ayaz from Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) said that Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has to travel out of the country for some certain medical tests which are not obtainable in Pakistan.
Talking to media, Dr Memood Ayaz said that the medical board is ready to give their writing to the health department that Former Prime Minister must go for a genetic test which currently not available in Pakistan.
He further said that this is not a minor genetic issue which the former Prime Minister is facing.
On 29 October the Islamabad High Court postponed Former Prime Minister sentence in Al-Azizia reference case on medical ground for the time period of 8 weeks.
