According to market sources, in Balochistan, the price of 20 kg bags of flour has increased by Rs 80, after which the price of 20 kg bags has reached Rs 1100.
Market sources said that the price of 20kg bags of flour increased by Rs 50 last month and the flour bag was being sold for Rs 970 last month.
Similarly, the price of 10 kg bag of flour in Karachi has increased by Rs 50, after which the 10 kg bag of flour has reached to Rs 700.
On the other hand, the President of Floor Mill Association Balochistan Syed Zahir Agha said that wheat was not being supplied from the government warehouses and we are forced to purchased wheat from market on high price.
He said that they could not sell cheap wheat by buying expensive wheat. If the situation remained the same, the flour will become more expensive in the coming days.
