Over 1,514 people test positive for dengue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwaa

PESHAWAR:  According to the KP Health Department, more than 1500 persons have been affected due to Dengue fever in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwaa. Radio Pakistan reported that no death was reported due to dengue this year.

On the other hand earlier in the month of September the government of KPK has rejected the reports on social media about spreading of dengue in the province.

Spokesman of Chief Minister Secretariat said that dengue tests of more than 2,600 patients were led during the most recent two months in Peshawar out of which 408 were discovered positive.

The representative had said a significant diminishing has been seen in dengue cases and the proportion of dengue cases has diminished from 20% to 5 %.
